Certified Farmers' Markets

Fresh produce directly from the farmer! Nevada, Placer, El Dorado and Amador counties all feature these markets, which generally take place from May to October. We'll keep you posted on dates and locations.

The PCFM is open the Saturday before Mother’s Day and continues each Saturday through mid-October. Top quality fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh baked breads, nursery items, honey, eggs, fabulous flowers, kitchen and garden treasures and so much more. 8:00 a.m. to Noon Located at the east end of the City of Placerville Historic District on the Ivy House parking lot. Nevada County

Each Friday from July 14 through September 14, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Mill and Main streets. Information: (530) 272-8315.

Calaveras County. The county has two Certified Farmers' Markets: one in Arnold and the other in Angels Camp.

Tuolumne County has three farmers' markets in Tuolumne, Twain Harte and Sonora.

Twice a week, you'll find farmers' markets in Mariposa.

Amador County offers farmers' markets in Pine Grove and Sutter Creek.

Warm, dry summers in the Sierra Nevada foothills are perfect for hot-weather vegetables such as peppers.
