This small rural community is located in El Dorado County on the Georgetown Divide at the top of Marshall Grade north of Coloma. An old stone store and Grange Hall remain from the early days. Today it's the site of Golden Sierra High School. On summer Saturdays, a farmers' market draws the community together. As with so many other foothill communities, horse aficionados, 4-wheelers, artists and musicians all find this a great place to live.
